SpaSeekers outing to K West Hotel and Spa

It’s been a very fun filled first couple of months in 2017. If you have been following my social media you have seen me out and about in London pretty much 3-4 days a week, which is a lot seeing as I’m now living elsewhere. Not going to lie it has been tough getting up at the same time as my husband (5.30am) to get into London and beat the morning traffic. But it isn’t without its rewards. So with that being said, I want to delve right into a fantastic adventure I had a few weeks back involving a SpaSeekers outing to K West Hotel and Spa.

A bit about the K West Hotel and Spa

The K West Hotel and Spa (nothing to do with Yeezy), located just five minutes from Sherpherds Bush station, has a very cool history. Before it was turned into a Hotel and Spa, it actually used to be the old BBC recording studio. The likes of David Bowie and Bob Marley have recorded there in the past and they have done such a fabulous job in refurbing the place into a modern yet edgy hotel which The A listers love.

A bit about SpaSeekers

SpaSeekers are a spa booking specialist website with all the knowledge, tips and prices you want when finding that perfect spa day. SpaSeekers work with the K west Hotel and Spa so I cannot thank them enough for organising this event for us bloggers.

A bit about the event

The evening itself was full of surprises and amazing touches. We didn’t just get straight to the spa, oh no! First, we had a cocktail making lesson and shook our own margaritas along with the most amazing food.

My plate of gluten free food!

I have to point out that no one has ever made me a mini gluten free burger before now- but the K West Hotel and Spa kitchen did and it was perfect. We cleared our drinks and plates before heading downstairs to the spa where we had a grand tour of all the facilities. The spa has so much to offer from their treatment rooms to the main spa itself. A few of the girls had a fifteen minute light treatment, but I couldn’t tear myself away from this stunning area.

There is a rather spectacular jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and sanarium as well as London’s first ever snow paradise! This is a room which is chilled to -15 degrees and although you may be thinking how can that be relaxing, it was totally zen! The whole room- wall, ceiling and floor- is covered in snow, like Elsa froze it herself! This was something very unique and a great new experience.

If you are looking for a top London hotel and spa starting from just £98 a night then you need a SpaSeekers outing to K West Hotel and Spa!

Find out more about the event on the SpaSeekers blog page here. They are hosting a fab competition for you to win a spa day at the K West Hotel and Spa, so get on over there right now to enter! Ends 16th February 2017
