Cadbury’s Obey Your Mouth

So this is a really quick and quirky post all about chocolate. So now I have your attention, I wanted to share a few images of what fun I had with Merrell at the Cadbury’s Obey Your Mouth house at Southbank London. Cadbury’s are doing a brand new campaign right now with 5 of their original best sellers and tying it in with some bank holiday fun from this Friday to Sunday. You can experience your inner child or entertain your own child with this free attraction for all ages as you go through the different rooms based around 5 different chocolate bars.

First up there’s some spinning fun with Double Decker, but I didn’t get my camera out until we hit part two, the Twirl ball pit!

Then we had to challenge a Panda with Wispa! It’s not as weird as it sounds, you have the panda to distract you as you try and throw ping pong balls into the goals behind him-

The next stage includes space hoppers and Boost, I almost fell off several times! You can race your friends to the end as you are timed, bounce as fast as you can there and back, I’ve got the videos on my snapchat right now so go take a look (search saharasplash).

And last you make your way down the slide (while snapchatting of course)…

…and it’s into a party room with Crunchie and a DJ! Props are provided for some camera moments 🙂

I hope you have a chance to get down there and try the Cadbury’s Obey your Mouth house for yourself, it’s really worth it if you are wondering what to do in London this weekend

The Blogger’s Tea Party at PopUp Patio

It’s that time again, time for another Bloggers Hangout event! This event was focused on food and drink and was hosted at the Pop Up Patio in Hoxton. It was a great location for a smaller event, and I took thetrousseaudiaries along with me too!

First, to the fashion:

I’m wearing a white lace boho blouse from Forever 21 and some tan high waist wide leg trousers from F+F. I went with a funky print shoe from the M&S Limited collection to finish my look- I got these in the sale at just £8.50! Best buy of the month.

Now, onto my top 5 brands from the event:

The Cocoa Den is a company owned by Kate Burton who specialises in handmade chocolates. She creates the most intricate designs in chocolate, it was wonderful to see her creations as well as taste them too! Virtually all her chocolates are gluten free and they were so lovely! Here are my favourite designs:

Just Bee drinks were really awesome. They have just gone through a complete brand relaunch and I was really pleased to meet them at the event. They infuse each drink with just a single drop of honey and they use the best honey from this family-orientated business. They stock in Selfridges, Fortnum and Mason or you can buy from them directly too. A 12 pack is just £19.99 and they have 3 delicious flavours to choose from:

Chikas snacks were really popular at the Bloggers Tea Party. Inspired by West African heritage this company is all about making a change for the better. Chikas snacks offer you a way to eat healthily (suitable for vegans and gluten free) and at the same time help do some good. For every subscription box ordered (starting at £4.99) you will also be paired with a child who needs support to receive an education. The snacks are so delicious, my favourite was the plantain crisps!

Drink Me Chai are the number one instant Chai drink in the UK. I know I have been guilty of spending way too much money on chai tea lattes in Starbucks in my time, and so Drink Me Chai are the perfect solution for saving money and still being able to have those luxury drinks. Much like a hot chocolate, all you have to do is add hot water or a water/milk combo to 3 teaspoons of the mixture. It’s so perfect and blended so well, it’s definitely the best instant drink I have tried. These are available in Sainsburys, Tesco and Waitrose for £2.50!

I reviewed these guys in my snackly box review a few months back, and it was great to try some more flavours. These snacks are 100% fruit so they are vegan and gluten free. The flavour is intense and so fruity! These are the perfect snacks for on the go, busy bloggers and for in the office too. They have also just launched a brand new flavour- apple, blueberry and banana which I am dying to try, they didn’t have it in time for the event so if I get my hands on a pack I will let you know on Snapchat and Twitter!

Thank you so much to the Bloggers Hangout team for organising such a fun event, Merrell and I had a great evening and we will definitely be blogging more about the brands there in the coming months! If you have any questions about any of the brands mentioned in this post, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter.

Joe Blogs Network at Go Ape!

Last month I had an absolute blast with a company called the Joe Blogs Network. After hearing about the network through Twitter I decided to sign up and see what they were all about. The network, made up of professional bloggers, aims to bring bloggers and brands together through the web. They put a lot of effort into planning really unexpected events, and this is how I found myself at Trent park one Sunday flying through the trees!

The Joe Blogs Network teamed up with Bgo.com for the day and took us to the Trent Park Go Ape course for a fun-filled day! You can check out their take on the event here plus a snap of my bootiful behind!

My brand new Ice Fox (similar to a GoPro) had arrived just for the occasion, and so I decided to test it out as I geared up for a thrill seeking adventure.

After our safety briefing from George, we headed to the first site and we got climbing! I had been on a similar Go Ape course in Thetford, but this one is much bigger and the swings are longer. It was really fun trying out the zip wires and crawling through tunnels up in the canopy, the day was beautiful and the atmosphere amongst fellow bloggers was fantastic. I really do recommend trying it out for yourself when you get the chance!

We were up there for about 4 hours in total, I was ready to de- harness as we made it to the final zip wire. I must say I was impressed with my landings, I was glad to meet the leaf covered floor with my feet rather than my back!

We were treated to a lovely cup of tea and sandwiches after touching back down to ground and we then had the chance to play Kong: The 8th Wonder slot game affiliated with bgo.com. This is a free game compatible with smart phones where you bet and play by spinning- check it out here! We all had a timed competition to see who had the most money left at the end.

Last but not least, I’m sure you’d all love to see my footage from the IceFox of us monkeying around on our #BgoApe adventure, so enjoy!

Shout outs to all the bloggers featured in the video- Erin, Jess, Liza, Emma, Mollie, Tee, Chynna, Monica & Becs xxx
