I’m going to take you back a few weeks now, as this is something I have been working on reviewing for a while. Not only are you going to read about a fantastic place called the Ivy London, but you’re also going to learn about some top quality brands which you can get all in one place at the click of a button. This is my BeBeautiful Lunch with Beauty Expert.
It was one of those impossibly hot July days in London as I made my way into the centre of the city to Covent Garden. There I was greeted by the team from Beauty Expert as well as some of the brands launching with Beauty Expert’s new collection- The Rose Edition.
I saw some familiar bloggers at the event and met with some new faces too which is always nice. The tables were set out for all the bloggers with personalised place names and we each had a lovely rose waiting for us too accompanied by some Ren Skincare goodies.
The Ivy London took such great care of us, and were happy to provide me with gluten free rolls and modify the dessert to make it coeliac friendly. We had the most amazing salmon starter, followed by chicken and corn purée, then strawberry sorbet and fruit to finish.
It was lovely to be sat amongst other bloggers and representatives from the brands. After lunch, we had presentations from each of the brands involved to tell us a bit more about their key products and why they were included in this first collection inspired by roses.
Here’s what you can expect when you purchase the Rose Edition from Beauty Expert, which I must add here that it’s collectively worth £134 but is priced at just £50 for the whole collection!
Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil (30ml)
This BioRegenerate oil will help keep your skin looking so radiant. It is vegan and cruelty free which I just love to hear and it can help to cleanse and repair skin prone to irritation. I love using this twice a week in the evenings and I always wake up to brighter skin when I’ve used it.
Monu Gentle Cleanser (180ml)
Ths cleanser contains Geranium, Rose and Aloe Vera to make one perfect gentle product. Also cruelty free, Monu are an inspiring brand which I cannot wait to discover more of their range. The lotion glides on smoothly with a cotton pad and I like to remove with a hot cloth so that it really opens my pores up for a deep cleanse.
Ark Body Beautiful Conditioning Oil (250ml)
This conditioning oil is such a great all rounder. It comes in a very genrous size of 250ml so you will get a lot of use from this product which can be applied to your bath, body or hair. I love massaging this into my legs, hands and feet after a bath as it helps to destress and detox.
Balance Me Rose Otto Body Cream (200ml)
The first thing I picked up when using this body cream was the scent of heady violets. It took me right back to my childhood and when I used to share a packet of parma violets with my nan, so I just love this product! I’d recommend only using small amounts as it is quite rich so again, it will last you a good while. It’s also 99% natural and made in the UK.
Korres Japanese Rose Shower Gel (250ml)
Although this contains hydrolysed wheat gluten, don’t be deterred if you have a gluten allergy. A lot of coeliacs tend to stay away from cosmetics and beauty products which contain gluten but there’s no need. Unless ingested, you are completely safe to use this japanese rose shower gel, and believe me it’s so worth it.
REN Keep Young and Beautiful Instant Brightening Beauty Shot Eye Lift (15ml)
This is by far my favourite product from the range. I have recently featured this wonder shot in my latest YouTube video- my August favourites. It has worked wonders around my eye areas in the past 3 weeks and the product gets to work instantly for immediate results.
The first collection from Beauty Expert couldn’t have been better in my opinion, it has a lustful range that will be coveted by most beauty addicts I am sure. Get yours today right here and let me know what is your favourite from the Rose Edition. I cannot wait to see what’s coming next, thanks ever so much for reading all about my BeBeautiful Lunch with Beauty Expert!

If you liked my Bebeautiful lunch with Beauty Expert, you will love my gluten free afternoon tea!
Over the past 2 weeks I have been trialling a new product. Once every day for 14 days, I have been oil pulling! What is oil pulling you ask? It involves Sri Lankan coconuts, swilling and smiling! I’m here to share with you my Mintycoco experience…
Using Mintycoco is a great way to a natural detox for a happier, healthy mouth. I have always been a little conscious that I don’t have the whitest teeth and so I really jumped at the chance to give Mintycoco a whirl and a swirl! This works just like a mouthwash essentially, only the texture is a bit different. I don’t suppose you’ve ever held 2 spoonfuls of oil in your mouth before, so it is a very weird sensation to begin with…
My Mintycoco package came with 14 sachets of oil. At room temperature the coconut oil is a solid state. You warm them up in some warm water or in your hands to liquify them before you tear the top off and suck out the insides like a frube. Remember frubes? They were good! You don’t swallow the oil, you just keep it in your mouth for 5-15 minutes and let the oil get to work! I had my Mintycoco experience as a part of my bedtime routine, but you can use it in the mornings too just before you brush your teeth.
So here’s my smile, day 1!
Here’s my smile 7 days in:
Here’s my smile 14 days in:
And to show you the clear difference, here are the photos close up and side by side- I really noticed a difference after just 14 days, plus my teeth felt super smooth and my breath was super fresh after each use…
I absolutely loved my Mintycoco experience, check out their website here to order your sachets and watch my YouTube video below to see the product in action!

Let me take you to a magical place, a place filled with so many bloggers, brands and braids it’s unreal. I’m talking about the Bloggers Hangout fierce fashion week that happened around this time last week at the ProVision studios in East London- my neck of the woods. This event was really special, and not just because I got to say hey to some of my fav bloggers and shake hands with some new brands. It was special because I introduced a very good friend of mine to the world of blogging (look out for her soon and follow her insta here!), as she attended her first offical blogging event. A second, one of my petite models walked in the catwalk!
I have a startup petite agency as well as this blog and a full-time job, so this event really showed me how it could all come together into one and be successful. So let’s start with some of my top brands from the event- some I already knew about, and others were completely new to me:
Amie skincare products are my new obsession. Their natural products suitable for sensitive skin as well as being cruelty free are so affordable and they are a part of my everyday routine now. I loved the scents of these fruity products and they made my skin feel so fresh and healthy right from the first use. I’ve been using them for a week now and I just can’t get enough. These are stocked in Waitrose and online here– I’m feeling a YouTube video is definitely necessary to show off how gorgeous this skincare set is!
Next on my list are Magnitone. I was lucky enough to receive a Magnitone at last year’s hangout and it was great to catch up with them at this year’s hangout event. I use my orange magnitone at least twice a week in the shower and take it with me on my travels. It’s the perfect exfoliator and cleanser without having to use harsh products and scrubs to get that freshly-washed feeling. I can’t wait to try out the new head for it- the stimulator!
I first discovered Thumbs Up products at the BPR press event last year. I have been wanting to try these cool kits out for a while, and so I was really pleased to see them at the event. The designer wraps are effortless to put on and file off the excess from the tops of your nails. And the patterns are too pretty! I trialed the ‘Lisboa’ wrap at the event and I came home with the zebra set (£6.99) to try. Keep watching as I’ll be wrapping and snapping very soon!
A new addition to my contact book are Kenneth Turner. Although I had heard of them, I never really knew much about these guys until I got chatting to them last week. Their table was crazy busy all night, and for a very good reason! Bloggers were drawn to the glowing candles and the amazing aromas from where they set up. The decorations of frozen flowers were just fantastic! They have just celebrated their 30th anniversary for their original scent and are doing better than ever. They stock in Fortnum and Mason and I would really recommend their ‘Original’ scent if you’re a fan of cloves…. I am and now it’s all around my flat! Check out their website to see more.
Now onto the braids…
A wonderful stylist (follow her here) called Amy works for Paul Mitchell who were making bloggers’ instagrams go insane that night. Amy is a braiding whizz and she had everyone lining up for a custom braid. I was the last blogger of the night to get a braid, and we went for a simple chunky style which I adored and is all over my instagram too! I have a bag of Paul Mitchell products I am itching to get trying and styling with so stay tuned for more hair madness…
And onto my star model Esther. She killed the catwalk in so many styles and I am so proud of her. A massive thanks to the Bloggers Hangout and Danielle especially for making this happen:
So all in all a truly sensational night. I have a lot more brands I am wanting to share with you too so I am saving these for another time!

So I hope you all saw my unboxing video a few weeks back on my YouTube channel. If not, go and watch it right now before you read this post! I gave you all a little peek inside my Chantelle Beauty Box. So after using all the products it is now time for my official Chantelle Beauty Box Review! Chantelle has just started her own subscription service which is 100% vegan and cruelty free. I jumped at the chance to review the box as I recently want to make the switch to as many animal friendly beauty products as possible.
I have been receiving Glossybox for a few years now and so I think it is time for a switch up, and what a better way to do this than to start supporting a smaller supsription service that goes to bigger efforts with its products. I want to show you all the wonderful things I’ve tried out from Chantelle’s beauty box, and read on till the end to find out how you can order yours too!
First up we have ‘Sweet Like Sugar’ scrub
This is an organic scrub which is perfect for exfoliation. Its ingredients include dark sugar, organic olive oil and is infused with citronella and lavender oils for scent. It is the perfect scrub for sensitive skin and doesn’t contain any chemicals which can induce a reaction. It left my hands feeling so silky smooth when using it after cooking to get rid of dirt and bacteria.
Next, and has to be my definite favourite, the Fantasy Cream!
This bright body butter was so amazing. It contains avocado & coconut oil and organic shea butter- I absolutely adored it. I used this on my dry areas such as elbows, fingers and feet and what a difference it has made in such a small space of time. It instantly rejuvenates my skin and I cannot get enough of it! For a sample size, this goes a long way too! The scent is mild but really great, I think the ylang ylang comes through the most.
Onto our next product- a little Glory Oil!
This little pot is filled with a unique blend of plant oils and olive oil. It smelled so wonderful and I used this in a hot bath to make it smell amazing. Alternatively you can apply straight to your body also. Chantelle sells a 200ml bottle for £10 and it’s perfect if you are after an oil which is light and which smells amazing too.
The final product in the beauty box was a little packet of Pink Magic Bath Soak.
This product is a must for fans of bath salts and body scrubs, as you can use this for both! I took mine with me to the bath and loved the aroma that the Himalayan salts created. I used some on my skin as well as letting some soak into the tub, and it was the most relaxed I had felt in a long time.
So now for the details!
The Chantelle Beauty Box is available for £13 per month and you can contact Chantelle via her website here. Each box will contain one full size product and 3 sample size products. These can be ordered separately too if you try them out and like them and all the details on pricing of individual items are included in your box and also on the website.
I can’t thank Chantelle enough for sending me my first box to try out, I will definitely be back for more cruelty free and natural goodies next month!
